Terri Spencer
Owner-Operator | NADOI-Certified Instructor| Groomer
Terri joined the Paws Town family in 2018, became a co-owner in 2019 and became sole owner in May of 2024. Her love for animals, dog behavior and training started when she was just a small child. She has been a professional dog trainer for 16 years.
Terri is the only trainer in the area who is certified by the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI). She has also served on the board of NADOI as a director and then as vice president. Her passion is pet dog behavior with a special interest in the rehabilitation of fearful and feral dogs.
Terri also loves to work with the community by fostering and volunteering for SparKy Rescue, assisting with the training and certification of therapy dog teams, and assisting in the training of service dog teams. For Terri, pet care is not just a career, it is a lifestyle.
Sarah Scarlett
Manager
Sarah joined the Paws Town Team in 2022 as a receptionist. Before that, she worked for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in Tennessee. She now helps in a variety of customer service duties as well as assisting with day-to-day operations in our facilities. Sarah's attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service skills make her a true asset to the PT family.
Joelson Carrico
Shift Lead
Joelson joined the Paws Town Team in 2021. His work ethic, compassion for animals, and customer service skills make him a valued member of the PT family. Joelson also assists with tasks outside of the normal day-to-day, including helping us maintain the facility and coming up with new ways to enrich our pets' environments.
